The President of Azerbaijan awarded the highest military ranks to four servicemen of the State Border Service

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on conferring higher military ranks to servicemen of the State Border Service (SBS) of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

As reported by BAKU.WS, the document states:

"Guided by paragraph 24 of Article 109 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, I hereby decree:

To confer higher military ranks on the following servicemen of the State Border Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan:

the higher military rank of "Lieutenant General"

Major General Babek Mursal oglu Alekberov

Major General Agshin Ramiz oglu Maherramov

Major General Faig Hamzaagha oglu Mammadov

the higher military rank of "Major General"

Colonel Elfan Shakir oglu Guliyev".
