The President and First Lady participated in the opening of a new park in Baku

On October 1, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and the first lady Mehriban Aliyeva participated in the opening of a new park in the Narimanov district of Baku.
As AZERTAG reports, the head of the Executive Authority of Baku city Eldar Azizov informed the head of state and the first lady about the park.
It was noted that the new recreation area is located at the intersection of Ahmed Bek Agaoglu, Tabriz and Talyat Shikhaliyev streets, near the Italian-Azerbaijani University. The 3.5-hectare park has gazebos for residents' leisure, an amphitheater, a tennis court, entertainment areas for children, and a modern lighting system. There are all possibilities here for both quiet relaxation and sports activities.
In recent years, the appearance of Baku has been rapidly changing. Thanks to the creation of new parks and alleys, expanding the area of green spaces and renovating existing recreation zones, the capital is developing, turning into one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
New recreation spots opening in various places in Baku create conditions for residents to spend their leisure time effectively, and also serve to improve the ecological environment.
The park handed over to residents has become a new address on the "green" map of the capital.
