The Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs considers the results of COP29 in Azerbaijan very positive

Very positive results were achieved at COP29 in November 2024 in Baku.

As Report informs, this was stated by the Secretary General of the Greek Foreign Ministry Dimitris Skalkos at an official reception in Baku on the occasion of the National Day of this country.

Skalkos emphasized that he was part of the Greek delegation that participated in the events within the framework of COP29 in Baku:

"Relations between our countries are constantly strengthening. This is based on the positive spirit that was reflected in the productive meeting between President Ilham Aliyev and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis during COP29 in Baku in November last year. We want to continue the dialogue to utilize the not yet fully engaged potential across the entire spectrum of our bilateral relations."

According to him, Athens is interested in cooperation with Baku not only in the energy sector but also in other areas.
