The body of an Azerbaijani sailor who died in the Sea of Azov will be delivered to the Khachmaz district

The body of 45-year-old Fuad Orujov, a native of the Khachmaz district, who died on June 5 as a result of a drone attack on a cargo vessel in the Sea of Azov, will be delivered to his home village of Yerguj tonight or tomorrow morning. Official authorities have informed the relatives of the deceased about this.

As Bizim.Media reports, the administration of the territorial district of the village of Yerguj under the Executive Authority of the Khachmaz district stated that F. Orujov will be buried tomorrow at the cemetery of his home village.

As a reminder, on the night of June 5, two cargo vessels — Natra and Zirkon — were attacked in the Sea of Azov. As a result, four citizens of Azerbaijan were killed, four others were injured, and one person is listed as missing. The investigation is ongoing.
