The 2nd Solidarity Forum of NGOs of OTS Member States is being held in Baku
The II Solidarity Forum of Non-Governmental Organizations of the Member States of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) is being held in Baku as part of the Baku Urban Planning Week.
As Report informs, the event is organized by the Agency for State Support of NGOs in partnership with the NGO Platform of the OTS member states.
Representatives of civil society from 8 countries are participating in the forum - Azerbaijan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Northern Cyprus, and Hungary.
The first Solidarity Forum was held in November 2025 in Baku and Nakhchivan, where the NGO Platform of the OTS member states was established. As the current chair of the OTS, Azerbaijan assumed the leadership of this platform.
Within the framework of the II Forum, cooperation forums between the NGOs of Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, and Northern Cyprus will be held for the first time.
