On September 14, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev participated in the opening of a mosque built in the settlement of Hadrut in Khojavend district.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to AZERTAG, the director of PMD Projects LLC Nariman Topchubashev first informed the head of state about the Hadrut residential quarter under construction.
It was reported that PMD GROUP company is currently building 28 two-story private houses in the settlement of Hadrut. Construction work on the 3.6-hectare area is being carried out quickly and with high quality.
President Ilham Aliyev was also informed about the mosque built in the settlement.
Note that the foundation of this mosque was laid by the head of state in October 2021.
The height of the mosque's minaret is about 25 m. It can accommodate 210 people praying simultaneously. The first floor is designated for men, the second for women. Special decorative elements corresponding to national ornaments were used in the design of the mosque's facade.
After the liberation of our lands from occupation, the Azerbaijani state is carrying out consistent work to restore the religious and historical monuments destroyed by Armenia in these territories, returning them to their former appearance. New mosques are also being built.
