President: Today relations between Azerbaijan and the Trump administration are at a very high level

As for the relations between the United States and Azerbaijan, they are at a very high level; I would even say that they have reached the level of strategic partnership.

As reported by AZERTAC, President Ilham Aliyev stated this at the opening of the IV Shusha Global Media Forum.

Touching upon his meeting with President Trump, the head of state noted: "Our historic meeting with President Trump took place in Washington in August of last year. Then we met again in Davos in January of this year. They also invited Azerbaijan as one of the founders of the Peace Council established by President Trump. Subsequently, Vice President JD Vance visited Azerbaijan, and we signed a joint declaration on the establishment of a strategic partnership. These and many other factors indicate that our relations are now at their peak. We have never reached such a level of relations before."
