Today, half of Azerbaijan's gas exports go to European Union (EU) member states.

As AZERTAC reports, President Ilham Aliyev stated this in a joint press statement with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.

"Today, ten European Union member states import gas from Azerbaijan, and there are opportunities to expand this geography," the head of state noted.
