President of Azerbaijan congratulated Prime Minister of Ethiopia
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to Prime Minister of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia Abiy Ahmed Ali.
As reported by BAKU.WS, the message reads:
"Dear Mr. Prime Minister,
On my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan, I cordially congratulate you and your people on the occasion of the National Day of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.
I am pleased that the relations between Azerbaijan and Ethiopia are developing on an ascending trajectory and are being filled with new substance.
I highly value our productive meeting with you, the exchange of views and discussions that took place during your visit to Azerbaijan in February. The agreements reached during the visit on the future directions of Azerbaijani-Ethiopian relations have opened new opportunities for expanding the scope of the bilateral agenda.
I am confident that we will continue our joint efforts to strengthen interstate ties and realize the potential of mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields.
On this festive day, I wish you good health, happiness, and success in your endeavors, and to the friendly people of Ethiopia — lasting well-being and prosperity."
