President: "Baku Initiative Group" is one of the most effective NGOs that has brought the issue of colonialism onto the global agenda

President Ilham Aliyev spoke at the 4th Shusha Global Media Forum, discussing colonial tendencies in the world and the activities of the "Baku Initiative Group" in this direction.

As reported by AZERTAC, the head of state noted that the government of Azerbaijan is already being accused of interfering in the internal affairs of France. "We are not engaged in this. We believe that human rights are a universal issue. The 'Baku Initiative Group' is perhaps one of the most effective non-governmental organizations today that has brought this issue (colonialism – editor's note) to the global agenda," the president added.
