New details of the Shusha operation, revealed years later

During the Second Karabakh War, the Azerbaijani army demonstrated its power by using the latest military equipment, reports BAKU.WS.

The most difficult and significant among all operations was the liberation of the city of Shusha. One of its heroes, Umman Bakhshaliyev, recalls the events of five years ago.

"Our task was to destroy enemy forces arriving from the direction of Lachin and Khankendi, and to block their path. Using routes that the enemy couldn't even think of increased the effectiveness of the operation," he said.

According to him, when the Armenian armed forces realized they were surrounded on three sides, it was already too late.
