Minister of Defense: Ilham Aliyev is satisfied with the activities of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan

Command and staff training exercises are being conducted in the Azerbaijani army.

The command and staff training exercises are being conducted in accordance with the training plan for 2025.

According to the training plan, which involves the main directorates and departments of the Ministry of Defense, branches of troops and forces, as well as the headquarters of the Separate Combined Arms Army, actions are being carried out in accordance with the military decision-making process.

Defense Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov listened to headquarters reports via video conference on May 15.

The Defense Minister noted that the President of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev expressed satisfaction with the activities of the Azerbaijani army and conveyed the tasks set for the army to the participants.

"The purpose of the command and staff training exercises, conducted in accordance with real combat conditions and taking into account modern combat experience, is to improve the military decision-making process considering the maneuverability capabilities of units, as well as to practice conducting defensive and counter-offensive operations," the information emphasizes.
