As reported by BAKU.WS, this center was established by a decision of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The center has several departments, including a department for maintaining a national register of rare manuscripts, a manuscript fund, a library, and archives.
Items and works belonging to different historical periods are displayed here. The legacy of ancestors is demonstrated using modern technologies and digital devices. The museum exhibition consists of the halls "Pre-Islamic Civilizations," "The Era of the First Renaissance," "The Era of the Second Renaissance," "Uzbekistan in the 20th Century," "New Uzbekistan - the Foundation of the Third Renaissance," and "The Holy Quran."
The hall "The Holy Quran," located in the center of the exhibition, houses the spiritual pearl of the Muslim world - the "Uthman Quran." Handwritten copies of the Quran created in different periods and its translations into the Uzbek language are also displayed here.
Hundreds of scholars, experts, religious and public figures participated in the implementation of the project. The center cooperates with a number of international organizations, including UNESCO and ICESCO.
