Leyla Aliyeva participated in an event dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the ASAN Məktub social program

On December 18, the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan hosted an event dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the ASAN Məktub social program.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to AZERTAJ, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of the IDEA Public Association Leyla Aliyeva participated in the event.

The event, which was also attended by ASAN volunteers, children in need of social support, and other guests, began with an introduction to the ASAN xidmət and Bilim Bakı centers. Guests were informed about the activities of the 7th ASAN xidmət center in Baku, as well as innovative solutions applied in ASAN xidmət centers and in the public services system. It was noted that currently Azerbaijan's intellectual products are exported to more than 30 countries.

Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva committed to fulfilling one of the letters attached to the ASAN Məktub tree.

During the tour of the ASAN xidmət mobile bus, it was stated that the main goal is to provide more convenient, accessible, and innovative delivery of public services. The activities of the Bilim Bakı center were met with great interest. It was emphasized that the center's work is aimed at developing knowledge and skills of students aged 6-14 in the fields of technology, innovation, science, and entrepreneurship. The main goal is to increase schoolchildren's interest in these areas and instill knowledge and skills that meet modern requirements.

The official part of the event began with a video about the 10-year activities of the ASAN Məktub social program. It was reported that the ASAN Məktub social program of the "ASAN Volunteers" organization has been implemented since 2015 with the aim of fulfilling the wishes of children aged 3 to 14 who need social support, to bring them joy, attention, and care. Within the framework of the program, to date, wishes reflected in 10,512 letters have been implemented across 56 regions.

Guests were also provided information about the "Warm a Heart Too" (Bir qəlbi də sən isit) project. It was noted that within the framework of the project, with the support of citizens, the wishes of children aged 3 to 14 in need of social care are fulfilled throughout December. To date, the dreams of more than 2,500 children in various regions of the country have been realized.

Then, as part of the "Culture Herald" (Mədəniyyət Carçısı) program of the "ASAN Volunteers" organization, musical performances and dance numbers were presented.

Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva also visited the ASAN Məktub, Yaşıl ASAN, and ABAD stands.

The event continued with a tree planting action organized in the courtyard of the state agency. As part of the event, various gifts were presented to children from orphanages of social service institutions numbers 1, 2, and 3, as well as to students of Social Services Centers.
