Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva visited the International Carpet Festival

On May 4, Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of the IDEA Public Association Leyla Aliyeva and head of Baku Media Center Arzu Aliyeva visited the International Carpet Festival taking place at Gosha Gala Square in Icherisheher.

As reported by BAKU.WS, they familiarized themselves with carpet samples presented at the festival, traditional craft art items, as well as pavilions exhibiting works of national applied and decorative arts from various countries.

Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva observed the carpet-making process. It was noted that this process includes wool sorting, cleaning, dyeing with natural dyes, thread preparation, ornament creation, and weaving.

Then they interacted with local and foreign guests of the festival and took commemorative photos.
