Keys to homes were presented to families who arrived in the village of Khorovlu

The next group of former internally displaced persons who arrived in the village of Khorovlu in the Jabrayil region were handed the keys to their homes.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, at this stage, 70 people - 19 families - have returned to their native village.

The key handover ceremony was attended by employees of the Special Representative Office of the President of Azerbaijan in the Jabrayil, Gubadli and Zangilan regions, as well as the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons.

In accordance with the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev, the process of the Great Return to the territories liberated from occupation continues.

As reported by BAKU.WS, on December 24, another group of former internally displaced persons is departing from Baku to the village of Sos in the Khojavend region and Khorovlu in the Jabrayil region.

At this stage, 24 families (99 people) are returning to Sos, and 19 families (70 people) to Khorovlu.

The families relocating to these settlements had been temporarily residing in various regions of the republic, mainly in dormitories, sanatoriums, and administrative buildings.

The residents returning to their native land expressed gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for comprehensive state care. They also expressed appreciation to the valiant Azerbaijani army, heroic soldiers and officers who liberated our lands, and prayed for the souls of the martyrs who gave their lives in this cause.
