"Caspian Oil and Gas Exhibition" laid the foundation for the energy development of modern Azerbaijan.

As reported by AZERTAC, President Ilham Aliyev stated this in his speech at the official opening ceremony of the XXXI "Baku Energy Forum".

"Over time, it (the exhibition - editor's note) has changed and become even larger in scale, and now bears the name 'Baku Energy Week,' within the framework of which numerous events and ceremonial occasions are held," the head of state added.
