Ilham Aliyev: Hosting the U-20 Football World Cup in Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan is our common historical achievement

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev noted good results in sports cooperation between the two countries in an interview with the National Information Agency of Uzbekistan (UzA).

As reported by BAKU.WS, the head of state said: "Thanks to the joint efforts of the two countries, the FIFA Executive Committee made a decision to hold the final stage of the 2027 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. This is our common historical achievement that will unite Europe and Asia."
