On September 10, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev participated in the opening of the paper and hygiene products manufacturing enterprise of Fabriora Group Limited Liability Company (LLC) in the Garadagh district of the capital.

As reported by AZERTAC, Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov and the founder of Fabriora Group LLC Ibrahim Uygur informed the head of state about the enterprise's operations.

It was noted that the enterprise will produce paper and hygiene products, including baby diapers, various wipes, and cleaning products, using both local and imported raw materials and supplies from foreign countries. The enterprise, located on a territory of approximately eleven hectares, will employ modern and highly automated German, Italian, and Turkish production technologies.

The products will be supplied to the domestic market and also exported to Georgia, Kazakhstan, Russia, Middle Eastern countries, and other states. It is planned to provide permanent employment to 240 people here.

The enterprise was privatized through an investment tender organized by the State Service for Property Issues under the Ministry of Economy. The total investment cost of the project amounts to 27 million manats.

Fabriora Group LLC received a benefit of 1 million manats in VAT and customs duties on equipment imports based on an investment incentive document.

It should be noted that one of the important directions of the economic policy pursued in Azerbaijan under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev is strengthening industrial potential and expanding competitive production. One of the results of the industrialization process is the formation of more sustainable production and supply chains in the country. The expansion of local production makes it possible to meet domestic demand and reduce dependence on imports, as well as increase the access of Azerbaijani products to foreign markets.
