II Forum of Religious Leaders of Azerbaijan is taking place in Baku
II Forum of Religious Figures of Azerbaijan started in Baku.
As BAKU.WS reports, the event is attended by representatives of state structures, religious figures, teachers of religious educational institutions, theologians and experts, as well as official representatives of the religious sphere from Turkey, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan.
The forum is held under the motto "Constitutional principles of state-religious relations in Azerbaijan: secularism and freedom of conscience" and is organized within the framework of the "Year of Constitution and Sovereignty". Its purpose is to discuss the promotion of key constitutional values such as secularism and freedom of conscience, the role and responsibilities of religious figures, their professional development, legal and cultural aspects of interaction between state and religion, as well as strengthening the atmosphere of multiculturalism and tolerance.
The event will feature panel discussions on the topics "System of multicultural values: legal and cultural aspects of state-religious relations", "Strategies for religious education and enlightenment in the digital information environment", "Youth enlightenment against the background of global influences: modern methods and innovative approaches" and "The role of religious communities in the social and spiritual development of women".
As part of the forum, panel discussions are planned on the following topics: "System of multicultural values: legal and cultural aspects of state-religious relations", "Strategies for religious education and enlightenment in the digital information environment", "Youth enlightenment in the context of global challenges: modern methods and innovative approaches", as well as "The role of religious communities in the social and spiritual development of women".
