Haber Global prepared a story about President Ilham Aliyev's address to the participants of the D-8 Media Forum

TV channel Haber Global prepared a report on the address of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev to the participants of the D-8 Media Forum, which is taking place in Baku on the topic "Promoting dialogue, cooperation and regional solidarity".

As reported by BAKU.WS, the report states that the Azerbaijani capital is hosting another significant event, which is attended by more than 150 representatives from eight countries.

It is noted that the Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan - Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev read out President Ilham Aliyev's address to the forum participants.

The address emphasizes the importance of solidarity between D-8 countries. President Ilham Aliyev stated that cooperation is developing not only in the economic sphere but also in cultural, social, and humanitarian fields.

The head of state also pointed out that along with the changing world, the media environment is also transforming.

"Unfortunately, in the global information space, the scale of disinformation, fake news, hybrid threats, deepfakes, abuse of artificial intelligence capabilities, and other manipulations are continuously growing. These factors, besides seriously affecting the image and internal life of countries, strike at international stability as a whole and undermine trust between states. Therefore, one of the main tasks of the D-8 Media Forum is to form reliable cooperation between the media structures of member countries to create a truthful, impartial, objective, and responsible information environment," the address states.
