Haber Global: Fraternal message from Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to Ilham Aliyev
President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan sent a congratulatory letter to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was stated in a report prepared by the Haber Global TV channel.
It is noted that the Turkish leader addressed the congratulation to his Azerbaijani counterpart on the occasion of May 28 - Azerbaijan's Independence Day.
"We feel an immense sense of pride and joy that fraternal Azerbaijan is steadily growing stronger, increasing its authority in the region and on the international stage.
The deeply rooted bonds of brotherhood and solidarity between Turkey and Azerbaijan, drawing their strength from history, are growing stronger every day based on the principle of 'One Nation - Two States,' bequeathed to us by the national leader Heydar Aliyev. Turkey, building on our strong relations, will continue to develop the unique close cooperation and solidarity with fraternal Azerbaijan in all spheres," Haber Global quoted from Erdogan's congratulation.
The Turkish TV channel recalled that last year Ilham Aliyev, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and the leader of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif together celebrated Azerbaijan's Independence Day in Lachin.
"Ilham Aliyev pursues a policy that serves as an example for the entire world," Haber Global quoted Erdogan's words spoken last year in Lachin.
