Guterres welcomed the completion of negotiations between Baku and Yerevan on a peace treaty

UN Secretary-General António Guterres welcomes the conclusion of negotiations between Yerevan and Baku on a peace treaty, and supports the efforts of the parties to resolve all unresolved issues.

As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to TASS, this was announced by the press service of the head of the world organization.

"The Secretary-General welcomes the announcement by Armenia and Azerbaijan on the completion of negotiations on the draft peace agreement. He is encouraged by the progress the parties have made towards normalizing relations, and strongly supports their efforts to resolve all outstanding issues in the interest of long-term peace in the region," the statement issued by the UN said.
