Edgars Rinkēvičs visited the Alley of Martyrs
President of Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs, who is on an official visit to Azerbaijan, visited the Alley of Martyrs on April 22.
As reported by AZERTAC, Rinkēvičs paid tribute to the memory of the martyrs who gave their lives in the struggle for the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, and laid a wreath at the "Eternal Flame" memorial.
After the ceremony, the President of Latvia was provided with information about the history of the Alley of Martyrs, its special place in the national memory, as well as the ongoing work on the improvement and development of the capital city.
