Bakhtiyor Saidov accepted copies of credentials of the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Uzbekistan
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov received copies of the credentials of the newly appointed Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Tashkent, Rashad Mammadov.
As reported by BAKU.WS with reference to Report, the head of the Uzbek foreign policy department wrote about this on his social media pages.
During the meeting, the parties focused on maintaining the high dynamics of political dialogue, expanding trade, economic, and investment cooperation, as well as promoting joint projects in the field of transport and logistics.
"We are confident that the ambassador's rich diplomatic experience will contribute to the further strengthening of Uzbek-Azerbaijani allied relations and filling our cooperation with new practical results," Saidov wrote.
It should be recalled that on July 24, by decree of President Ilham Aliyev, Rashad Mammadov was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Uzbekistan. Previously, Mammadov held the position of head of the Azerbaijani diplomatic mission in Turkey.
