Azerbaijan may change the terms of conscription of reservists for training
Milli Mejlis will consider the issue of changing the terms for calling up reservists for military training gatherings.
As Report informs, relevant amendments are proposed to the laws "On Approval of the Regulation on Military Service" and "On Military Obligation and Military Service".
The draft law was discussed today at an online meeting of the Milli Mejlis Committee on Defense, Security and Anti-Corruption.
According to the draft, first-degree reservists will be called up for military training gatherings a maximum of ten times, each gathering lasting up to 1 month.
Reservists transferred to the reserve of the relevant executive authority will be called up to five times for a period of up to 2 months each.
