Azerbaijan and Lithuania Strengthen Ties in the Field of Military Police: Visit Details

In accordance with the bilateral cooperation development program between Azerbaijan and Lithuania, a delegation from the Military Police Department of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan visited Vilnius.

This was reported by the Media and Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.

It is noted that as part of the visit, the delegation headed by the Chief of the Military Police Department - Deputy Chief of the Main Department of Internal Security and Investigation of the Ministry of Defense, Major General Elgun Aliyev, visited the administrative building of the Military Police of the Ministry of Defense of Lithuania.

The delegation members familiarized themselves with the organization of the military police service, management mechanisms, and specifics of daily service activities. The Azerbaijani side was presented with briefings on the tasks of the Lithuanian military police in peacetime and wartime, as well as its activities within NATO.

During the meeting, the current state and prospects of cooperation between the parties in the field of military police were discussed.

The parties also emphasized the importance of expanding the exchange of experience in order to enhance the professional training of personnel and develop opportunities for joint activities.
