Azerbaijan accepted Trump's invitation to become one of the founding members of the "Peace Council"
US President Donald Trump announced the decision to create an international organization called the "Peace Council" on Gaza and invited the Republic of Azerbaijan to become a founding state of the organization.
As reported by BAKU.WS, this was announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA).
"The Republic of Azerbaijan has accepted this invitation and conveyed to the American side its intention to become one of the founders of the 'Peace Council'. An official confirmation letter regarding our country's membership in the 'Peace Council' will be sent to the American side, and appropriate measures will be implemented within the required procedures. Azerbaijan, as always, is ready to make an active contribution to international cooperation, peace and stability," the MFA information states.
