At the opening of the IV Shusha Global Media Forum, President Ilham Aliyev raised the issue of the complete repeal of Section 907.

As reported by AZERTAC, the head of state said: "Azerbaijan and Armenia initialed a peace agreement at the White House with the participation of President Trump. After that, Azerbaijan unilaterally lifted all restrictions against Armenia."

The President stated that more than 40,000 tons of various cargo had been delivered to Armenia from Russia, Kazakhstan, and other countries. "Azerbaijan itself began supplying petroleum products to Armenia. To date, more than 10,000 tons have already been delivered. While many countries, especially at present, are experiencing difficulties with access to fuel sources, Armenia relies on such a reliable source as Azerbaijan. Otherwise, it would have had to seek gasoline and diesel fuel in other parts of the world. All of this indicates that this amendment is completely outdated and must be fully repealed," he said.
