29 years ago, the national leader of the Azerbaijani people, Heydar Aliyev, visited the American city of Chicago. This visit left unforgettable impressions.

During his stay, Heydar Aliyev expressed admiration for the city's architecture and noted that the lakeside park reminded him of the Seaside Boulevard.

As part of the trip, the national leader, along with the accompanying delegation, took a boat ride on the Chicago River.

In a report by Azerbaijan Television (AzTV), it was shown how Heydar Aliyev was moved when he heard the song Sənsiz ("Without You") by the great composer Uzeyir Hajibeyov during this boat ride.
