# Baku.ws

> Baku.ws is an Azerbaijani online news agency founded in Baku in 2004. It covers politics, economy, society, world news, incidents, sport, culture and show business in Azerbaijan, the region and the world. Content is published in Azerbaijani (site root), Russian (`/ru/`) and English (`/en/`).

How the site is organised:

- Azerbaijani pages live at the root: `https://baku.ws/{category}/{article-slug}`
- Russian pages live under `/ru/`: `https://baku.ws/ru/{category}/{article-slug}`
- English pages live under `/en/`: `https://baku.ws/en/{category}/{article-slug}`
- Every article also answers on its numeric short link in its own language: `https://baku.ws/{id}`, `https://baku.ws/ru/{id}`, `https://baku.ws/en/{id}`
- Section pages are paginated as `/{category}/page/{n}`, topic pages as `/tag/{tag-slug}` and `/tag/{tag-slug}/page/{n}`
- Translations of the same article are linked with `<link rel="alternate" hreflang>` tags
- The freshest and most complete machine-readable list of articles is in the feeds and sitemaps listed below; prefer them over crawling section pages
- Do not crawl internal search (`/search?query=...`) or URLs with tracking or `?page=` parameters; they are disallowed in `robots.txt`

A longer version of this file with section descriptions, archive coverage and feed details is at [llms-full.txt](https://baku.ws/llms-full.txt).
